The Vines

Pinot Noir (Dijon clones 115 and 667 as well as UCD5), and Pinot Gris (clones 2-15 and Sel-Ovaille) were chosen because both these grape varieties are known to produce exceptional wines in Central Otago.

Viticultural Methods

The vines are at all times hand-tended - with advice, skills and expertise from our viticulturist Chris Martin.

Shoot thinning, leaf plucking, fruit thinning and pruning are all completed by hand, with the intention of producing low-cropping vines with intensely-flavoured fruit.

The grapes are hand-harvested to ensure the fruit arrives at the winery in the best possible condition.
